Overview
Reality Flight Sim is working to bring changes to the way flight simulators are viewed and used by those with an interest in flight training, as well as a way to bring a renewed medium to draw interest into aviation in the current age. We do this by offering a high fidelity but
Cost & Certified Simulators
Technology has allowed for higher fidelity simulators are costs never before seen. While BATD’s and AATD’s have some great value since pilots can actually log hours and accomplish certain required proficiencies, the amount of time that can be logged is low, especially for a private pilot rating which is limited at 2.5 hours!
We believe the use of a simulator for student pilots working on their private license has much more value in reducing costs by simply helping to reduce the amount of time that is often wasted to work on a lot of key concepts. Often times it takes 55-60 hours to get a PPL, even though the minimum is 40 hours.
That means students could easily be wasting $4,000 give or take, especially those who potentially go many months without getting in the air, which brings up the next challenge.
Beating the Weather
With the use of a Reality Flight Sim station, you can not only gain experience and proficiency at a fraction of the cost, but you can do so regardless of the weather. Even with sims having real-world weather, you have the ability to fly in all sorts of different airspace at any given time.

One of the big issues with most simulators is you really don’t get anywhere close to the same workload as you would

Flight Panels
Reality Flight Sim is working to feature flight panels that create a great balance between accuracy and fidelity. While some of our simulators might not be an exact replication of the real-world aircraft, you can at least use the simulator for multiple aircraft types. The other reality though is most FAA-certified simulators themselves at most flight schools do an even worse job at providing realistic and immersive flight panels.
This includes offering actual realistic looking and functioning avionics systems on our different panels including the Garmin G1000, GNS 530/430, GTN 750/650, GFC700 and GFC500 Autopilot, GCU 478, GMA350 Audio panel, etc.
